To secure a new distribution listing by creating a compelling sales story for the category buyer – with tailored strategy, insight, creativity and shopper marketing plans, all delivered within 72 hours.

OUR ROLE

One of the reasons we love what we do is that when amazing opportunities come along, we roll up our sleeves and rise to the challenge. So when the call came that a range window was opening with an imminent date for our client to present and the possibility of securing a new listing in a top multiple retailer, like an action movie, we assembled our best squad (including a Sunday workshop powered by our team’s favourite food) to hit the deadline.

Our role was to build a retail sell-in presentation for the category buyer, to gain the listing over the incumbent. We utilised our client’s existing knowledge, demonstrated shopper insight, created a compelling brand story and proposition, and showed bespoke shopper plans with unique creative and brand concept, along with the client’s commercials – to give the buyer confidence that the client’s range would out-perform the incumbent supplier.

WHAT WE DID DIFFERENTLY

Upskill – collaborated closely with clients, to build a retail sell-in story to support their category and commercials.

Bring plans to life – as the presentation had been crafted from many angles – commercial, creative and activation – we were able build an end-to-end solution for the buyer on the benefit of listing the products.

Variety of approaches – utilised an online consumer video panel to gain category insight and consumer & shopper requirements.

RESULTS

  • Bespoke presentation for retailer sell-in, in 72 hours including fresh insight and consumer sound bites from the retailers shoppers to support the proposition and recommendations
  • Utilising the agility and passion of Labyrinth consultants from each area of specialism (brand strategy, insight, creativity, shopper marketing, brand management) to build a credible retailer sell-in deck
